The Countdown Is Almost Over

The trip is only 8 days away and it is still so surreal to me.

There are so many things in the world that I am dying to see and Ireland is only one destination of many.
Being able to have this opportunity to travel is so important to me. Growing up I always had a dream that I would have everything in the world that I would want. This includes a very nice, big house, a great car, and a wonderful family of my own. Being able to travel the world has always been apart of this dream. Being able to start traveling this young is amazing because I never thought I'd be able to afford to go until I was older.

The first day of class was today and I am unable to fully comprehend that within a week I will be in a totally different country.
We learned the basics about Ireland today such as little facts like:
The shamrock is the national flower.
The harp is the national symbol.
The flag represents the peace between the north and the south.

I am more excited and grateful than anyone could ever know.
